The Vaishno Devi Temple is located in the Trikuta Mountains in the northern state of Jammu and Kashmir. The temple is devoted to Goddess Vaishno Devi, also known as Mata Rani, who’s believed to grant the wishes of her addicts.

The temple is visited by millions of addicts each time who trip up the mountain to seek blessings from the goddess and the trip is about 12 kilometers long, and pilgrims can choose to walk, ride a steed, or take a copter to reach the temple and also includes a number of other sanctuaries, holy grottoes, and contemplation centers.

2. Tirupati Balaji Temple 

The Tirupati Balaji Temple is located in the municipality of Tirupati in the southern state of Andhra Pradesh. The temple is devoted to Lord Venkateswara, who’s believed to be a manifestation of Lord Vishnu. The temple is highly visited in India, with an estimated 50,000 to 100,000 pilgrims daily. It is also renowned for its intricate sculptures, beautiful architecture, and numerous daily rituals. The temple features several sub-sanctuaries dedicated to vibrant gods and goddesses.

3. Golden Temple

The Golden Temple is located in the megacity of Amritsar in the northern state of Punjab. It is a sacred sanctum for Sikhs and is known for its stunning armature and golden polls. The Temple complex is erected around a pool of water, which is said to have mending powers.

It is open to people of all persuasions and is visited by millions of people every time. And also offers free food to anyone who visits, which is prepared by assessments in the temple’s collaborative kitchen.

4. Meenakshi Temple

The Meenakshi Temple is located in the megacity of Madurai in the southern state of Tamil Nadu. Additionally, the Meenakshi Temple is devoted to the goddess Meenakshi, who is believed to be a manifestation of the goddess Parvati. So, this temple is known for its intricate busts, beautiful armature, and various puppets. The temple has several sanctuaries devoted to colorful gods and goddesses, as well as a large number of halls and pillars. And moreover, it has a large tank, known as the Golden Lotus Tank, which is used for colorful rituals and observances.

5. Kedarnath Temple

The Kedarnath Temple is located in the city of Kedarnath in the northern state of Uttarakhand. It is one of the most important passage spots for Hindus because they are devoted to Lord Shiva. And is girdled by beautiful mountains and is believed to be one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, which are considered to be the holiest sanctuaries devoted to Lord Shiva. It is open only from April to November because the area remains covered in snow for the rest of the time.
